Die alten Maschinen consists of two musicians from the Czech Republic, Moimir Papalescu on electronic instruments and a saxophonist, Petr Venkrbec with guest, Leon Stevenson, a Canadian singer and drummer.

The first single 'To Be Or Not', now released electronically as a download on iTunes and other servers (Amazon, Napster, etc). Along with the original song, there are also mixes by the band members and by Czech DJ legend, Pavel Bidlo.

The limited edition vinyl was released on November 1st, 2008, including cover art by top Czech comics artist Adolf Lachman.
